Iris Charter Chapter Featured In Griffin Daily News

ABWA's  Spalding Iris Charter Chapter serves to enrich the community. Griffin Daily News Featured our local chapter in the December 12, 2014 issue.

Griffin, Georgia. -- Nearly 50 Christmas stockings were stuffed with items donated by members of the Iris Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association. The stockings will be distributed by the Griffin unit of the Salvation Army to less fortunate local children. Salvation Army Christmas Stocking Stuffing Tuesday December 2, 2014

Start gathering items for boys and girls, ages

infant to 12 years – gloves/mittens, socks, crayons,

coloring books, small toys/games, story books,

toothpaste/toothbrushes, combs/brushes, jewelry, and

only wrapped, hard candy. Our goal is to fill 50

stockings. All members are expected to participate

either by providing items or giving donations to

purchase items for the stockings. If you cannot come,

contact an officer or Wanda Howell to arrange pick up

or drop off. If donating, please bring money to the

November meeting or give to one of our officers.
